McSwain's Handmade Furniture is a small, family owned business offering a custom design service for one-of-a kind, handcrafted furniture. Each piece is built by master cabinetmakers with excellence and pride of workmanship unsurpassed. All work is signed, dated and documented to insure continuing appreciation.

Old world craftsmanship is not a thing of the past at McSwain's. Our hand-carving, hand-dovetailing, pegged mortised and tenoned joints plus solid wood construction and pride in workmanship are all a part of our everyday business.

We also offer the finest in materials and services, including specially sawed for us West Virginia Walnut and Cherry bed stock, 250 year old Heart Forest Pine, reclaimed from buildings erected during Colonial America, hand tooled English Calfskin used for inserts in desks and table tops, French polishing of new and old pieces, restoration of antiques, inlays of Mother of Pearl, Ivory, exotic woods from around the world and much more.
