In the late 1800’s a wooden water tower was built from virgin cypress in Kings Mountain, NC.
The tower was dismantled and we were able to acquire some of the beautiful wood which we used to build this unique Mendip bench.
It is fashioned around a cast iron diamond and floral pattern back insert which was recovered from a very early park bench.
The iron back has been powder coated and the grape vine pattern hand painted by Eric. It measures 48” wide x 24” deep x 37” high. Not suited for outdoor use but perfect for a screen porch or in home with a cushioned seat.
